Plymouth Municipal Band
1868 The First brass band of the City of Plymouth, it’s members were all Germans and many were Veterans of the Civil war, the Director was RICHARD MICHI.
It has changed its’ name a few times and has provided entertainment for the public for 139 years.
The band has travel to Germany a number of times and played there, and host the German bands in our homes too!
In the year of 1978 we set a night in our park for GERMAN NIGHT and our director at that time was ERNEST BROEIMAN, we have continue this event and each year it is greater’
2000 the band took a trip to Ireland and we performed there under the Direction of our Assistant Director Barry Broz
2007 Our Director Jason Sebranek since 1984 will be unable to attend so we will be under the direction of our assistant director.
They preformed in Sault Ste. Marie on August 17, 2007
