The Midwest Winds Quintet is a performing ensemble from the United States Air Force Band of Mid-America. Stationed at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, the ensemble honors and inspires our military and civilian audiences by presenting a wide variety of musical literature, from traditional, classical repertoire to marches and jazz.

The Midwest Winds Quintet was recently featured in the Band of Mid-America’s 2021 “Spirit of the Season” holiday television program, which aired on over 30 TV stations across the Midwest. The holiday special won the NATAS Mid-America Regional Emmy for Arts & Entertainment Long-Form Content. The United States Air Force Band of Mid-America represents the professionalism and excellence found every day throughout the United States Air Force. During this concert you will hear many of your holiday favorites played by groups ranging in size and genre from our smaller quintets to our jazz band and concert band. All musicians are stationed at Scott AFB in Illinois.
