Calling all young “drivers” and adult drivers that are young at heart! Cloverland Electric Cooperative is bringing in the big trucks on Engineers Day for kids to experience first hand. This opportunity to touch-a-truck and learn more about participants’ importance to the community will take place at the Famous Soo Locks Boat Tours parking lot near the Cloverland Hydroelectric Plant. This is a great activity to bring the family to during Engineers Day. Visitors can expect to see work trucks from Cloverland, Chippewa County Road Commission, GFL Environmental, and more. In addition to a variety of multi-purpose vehicles, attendees can expect to see drones, Powertown safety demonstrations, and equipment from Cloverland. In addition, there will be flashlight giveaways and raffles for Cloverland swag! You won’t want to miss this family friendly event taking place during Engineers Day.
