Baylilss Public Library is honored to announce that we will be in the presence of one of the last Holocaust survivors, Irene Miller. Ms. Miller is a published author and still an active speaker to this day. She wrote her memoir, “Into No Man’s Land” as a way to reflect on her life, and she urges you to read it before the event (if you can) if you plan to attend. Ms. Miller will be speaking about her upbringing, her experience, her life after the war and how it impacted her, and about the values she holds close to her.

Since we would like as many people to have access to Irene’s event, this program will be held at the LSSU Arts Center Theatre. It is because of a partnership with the Arts Center and several other community organizations that we can bring you this program.

September 12th at 7PM will be the “open to the public” version, whereas the day after is reserved for EUPISD students and teachers only.
If you have any questions for the library, please contact Natalie at Bayliss, or if you have questions for Irene/would like to purchase her book, you can visit her website: https://www.irenemillerspeaker.com/
