In this class, we will learn to make two styles of whisk brooms using broom corn. If you love functional art, you will love learning to make whisk brooms. They are the perfect size for sweeping into a dustpan, cleaning off a work bench, tidying up a hearth, and displaying in your home as a beautiful alternative to the plastic brooms sold in stores.

Please wear socks as this is usually a project done without shoes. All skill levels are welcome, however, please note that this course requires some hand strength and stamina. Being able to open a sealed jar is an example of basic hand strength.
