Enjoy a 5K run or walk along the scenic Riverside Drive to celebrate the Sault Ste. Marie Riverfest on Saturday, August 19th.  The race will start/finish near the outhouse on the north side of the kid’s fishing pond at Rotary Island Park. The course will be flat, fast, and an out/back. There will be an aid station with water near the 1.25 mile mark at the Charles T. Harvey Marina. Packet pickup will be at the pavilion on race morning from 7am-8:15am. There may be an additional bib pick the day prior at a local establishment from 4-7pm at a TBD location (more details as we get closer to race day). The race will begin at 8:30am.

Early registration will be $15 per registrant through July 31.  After July 31, registration will increase to $20 per registrant.  August 16 will be the last day to register online and there will be a price increase to $25.  If registering on the day of the race the price will go up to $30 CASH ONLY EXACT CHANGE.  Registration will officially close at 8:00am on race day. Finisher medals will be given to all participants.  Top 3 male and female awards will be given along with the top male and female master’s division (40+) and grandmaster’s division (60+).  Yooper Running Company will be providing chip timing and results.  Age groups 5-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+
