2022 Downtown Sault Ste. Marie Halloween Spooktacular!

Join the Downtown Development Authority for an evening of Halloween fun on Friday, October 28th! Our annual downtown trick-or-treating and trunk-or-treating will begin at 5:00 pm. Trick-or-treating will include participating businesses on Ashmun St. and Portage Ave. Trunk-or-Treating will take place under the pavilion on the corner of Portage and Ashmun. Beginning at 6:30 pm, Lock City Home Center will be sponsoring the first annual Parade of “Frights”! This fun filled parade will include entries for three different categories – individual, walking group, or float! There will be contests and prizes for each category and of course, lots of candy to be thrown! Parade starts at Portage Ave. at the corner of Magazine St., turns right onto Ashmun St., and ends at the corner of Ashmun St. and Library Dr.
There will be a designated “quiet zone” for the first block of the parade for anyone who needs this for themselves or their loved ones.
