The magic of the holidays begins downtown with the annual Parker ACE Hardware Parade of Lights! This beloved community event fills the streets with dazzling floats, festive music, and bright holiday spirit as we officially kick off the Christmas season in Sault Ste. Marie.

Local businesses, schools, and organizations are invited to participate by entering a float — or simply come out and enjoy the show!

Float Guidelines:

• All floats must include lights and music is highly encouraged.
• Please note that Santa is reserved for Parker’s ACE Hardware float.

Float Judging Categories:

• Best Lit Float
• Most Creative
• Best Representation of the Holidays

Prizes:

• 1st Place – $250
• 2nd Place – $150
• 3rd Place – $50

Registration Information:

• Deadline: Tuesday, November 25, 2025, by 5:00 p.m.
• To register, complete the Parade of Lights Registration Form (available through Parker ACE Hardware or Downtown Development Authority).
