You may know about our social media channels like Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, but we have some exciting news. We have expanded our reach to TikTok! If you don’t know what it is, don’t worry, I’ll explain it to you.
TikTok is a short form video social media app/website. You may know TikTok as being the place for dancing teens, but there is so much more that it has to offer! Once you start exploring the “For You Page,” the app will start to curate content, for you, it thinks you will enjoy! For example, if you like videos about traveling around Michigan, you will probably start to get lots of videos about all things Michigan!
TikTok will give us the opportunity to post all sorts of fun things in and around the Sault Ste. Marie area. One of the perks of TikTok is it allows us to show you some cool things you may not have known about before. There are so many hidden gems in and around the Soo and this app has become the perfect place to showcase them to you! All within a video that is 60 seconds or less.
You can look forward to seeing lots of freighter content for all of our boat nerds out there! We will also be showing you some delicious treats you can snag at local restaurants and all of the unique places to shop at! But that’s just scratching the surface of the endless possibilities of things we will be sharing with all of you. There really is something for everyone in the Soo and we can’t wait to show it to you.
