That’s right, planning just got much easier! We’re excited to unveil the Sault Ste. Marie Widget on our site with integrated mobile apps, an interactive way to map out everything you don’t want to miss in Sault Ste. Marie. We’ve been rolling out the app and desktop widget over the past few weeks and will continue to roll it out through the summer. We think it’s going to make planning the perfect trip to the Soo a seamless experience.

Designed with our partners at Visit Widget, this tool provides a new way to explore what the area has to offer, including hotels, popular restaurants, activities, shopping, and more. View it all at once or search by categories like camping, Taverns/Pubs/Bars, Specialty Shops and more.

See an event you don’t want to miss? Click “Join” and the event will be added to your plan.

That Restaurant everyone keeps telling you about? Click “Add to Plan” and you won’t forget to try it. The app will even generate a map for you so you can go from your hotel to your business of choice with easy directions.

Want to invite some friends? Share your plan with them directly or via social media, email or SMS.

With the app you’ll be able to try out curated tours such as burger tours or dog walking recommendations. Find the perfect itinerary and compete in challenges for cash prizes. For example, during the 2022 Ladies Night Out in Downtown Sault Ste. Marie we were able to give away $25 gift certificates to individuals who completed a challenge. Challenges consist of creating an account on the app, going to a participating business and “signing in” on the app. It’s that easy!
